Florence - 2002/2003
Restoration, interior design.
Merger of two apartments in a small condominium building, late 20s; the project allowed the full use of the attic as sleeping area and facilities, by highlighting the underlying floor dedicated to daytime and representation activities, as well as two galleries (office area), with a large passing fireplace and cylindrical hood designed as a proper metallic sculpture. The open kitchen including a breakfast area, is at the heart of the living area; also in this case the metal ladder, with sloped wooden treads is characterized by a strong "sculptural" component.
